Mugla Metropolitan Municipality The 3rd International Cartoon Contest 2022 Mugla Turkey

Subject: "Fire"

Fires

Learning to make fire in human history was a revolution. Knowing how to make a fire made his job easier. He warmed up, became illuminated, cooked his own bread, melted metals, shaped them, produced tools.

Not only did learning how to start a fire, but also negativities. Fires are one of these negativities. There have been many natural disasters in human history. These catastrophes have been burning, destructive and destructive. Fires are within this scope. Too many to count in world history. It has left deep traces in the memory of human history.

The ancient Roman fire was enough to destroy more than half of the city. The Chicago Fire (1950), the London Fire (1966), the Canada-Great Fire (1919), the Black Friday Fire (1939), the Peshtico Fire (1871) were the most deadly fires in history. The number of extinct plants and animals is, of course, unknown. The Siberian Taiga Fire(2003) is considered one of the biggest fires in history.

Today, the city has made a leap from town fires to forest fires. Forest fires not only destroy the ecological system, but also cause material damage, and more than that. Amazon fires, Aegean Region fires (2021) last year destroyed everything. The yellow flames turn everything it burns into embers, then the rain of gray ash begins, and the colors suddenly turn black, pitch black. Beauty disappears...

In this context, we are waiting for your lines that include the causes and damages of fires, the damage to the ecological system, living things and economy. We wish you the best of luck with your most original caricatures you will draw.
