Tolentino International Humor in art prize

La Biennale internazionale dell’Umorismo nell’arte Biumor chiama a raccolta disegnatori e artisti per la 31esima edizione del concorso promosso dal Comune di Tolentino in collaborazione con l’Associazione Popsophia.
In palio premi in denaro e due sezioni a cui partecipare. Tutte le opere selezionate entreranno a far parte del Miumor, il museo dell’Umorismo.
Come rappresentare l’Invidia oggi, nel mondo dei social e nei nuovi rapporti sociali post Covid. Il sentimento livido è il tema scelto per questa edizione.
Al concorso possono partecipare artisti contemporanei di ogni nazionalità, senza limiti di età, con un numero massimo di tre opere per ciascuna sezione, inedite e in originale, di dimensioni e tecnica libere, in qualsivoglia forma d’arte visiva e ogni tipologia di materiale e di supporto: pittura, grafica, scultura e installazione, fotografia, video. Sono anche ammesse opere di arte digitale interamente realizzate al computer e opere realizzate da sorgente fotografica purché l’intervento digitale sia strutturale, solo se inviate anche in copia cartacea, firmate e numerate dall’autore.
Deadline 11 ottobre.
Tutte le opere partecipanti entreranno a far parte di Miumor il museo dell’Umorismo di Tolentino.
In palio 3 premi in denaro per la sezione “Premio internazionale città di Tolentino” e 3 per la sezione intitolata a Luigi Mari.

31st edition for the international contest promoted by Tolentino municipality and Popsophia association. Cash prizes are awarded to winners.
All the selected works will become part of Miumor, the museum of Humor.
How to represent “envy” today, in the social media world and in the post Covid relationships. This is the theme for this edition Contemporary artists of all nationalities can participate without age limits, with a maximum number of three works for each section, unpublished and in original, of free dimensions and techniques, in any form of visual art and any type of material and support: painting, graphics, sculpture and installation, photography, video. Digital art works entirely made on a computer and made from a photographic source are also allowed as long as the digital intervention is structural, only if they are also sent in hard copy, signed and numbered by the author.
Deadline 11 October.
All the participating works will become part of Miumor, the museum of Humor in Tolentino.
There are 3 prizes up for grabs for every section: "International City of Tolentino Prize" and “Luigi Mari prize”
