we hereby invite you to participate in ZeGeBOOM! 1st International Cartoon Exhibition organized by the Trešnjevka Cultural Centre with the financial support of the City Office of Culture of the City of Zagreb.
Every year, ZeGeBOOM! will be dedicated to one of the current world topics, such as COVID-19 or the devastating earthquakes that hit Zagreb and Croatia in 2020.
1st International Cartoon Exhibition 2021 Zagreb Croatia
This year's theme is "Quake"
There are various types of earthquakes, which shake us in addition to when the Earth protests something, gets angry or just stretches its huge back. We are shaken by a lot of things in the city, from traffic to crowds and queues, from new measures and media fears, we are shaken by poverty, lack of money, unemployment, homelessness, we are shaken by bad news, and we are shaken by too much love… (B.H.)
Final exhibition of selected works will be held in October 2021 in Modulor Gallery of Trešnjevka Cultural Center, in Zagreb, Croatia (exhibition will be available online).
