Dear friends and artists, it is with great honor and joy that we announce the opening of registrations for the 17th INTERNATIONAL HUMOR HALL OF LIMEIRA 2021. Entries will run until July 30, 2021. Everyone is invited to participate, respecting the small rules stipulated by our regulations, which everyone already knows.
What is very special for us this year is being able to have a work for our poster by Master Kazanevsky. This great Artist, Master of Art and Life, who has been honoring us with his participation for a long time, and for a long time we have created a bond of admiration and inspiration for our work, our art and our lives.
What I believe to be very important about the conduct and personality of this man, this great Artist, has always been his extremely respectful and polite conduct. Its impeccable envelopes, the internal support that fits perfectly, the arrangement of the letters, the information, everything in perfect harmony, and finally, the works of art that marked all our work. Of course, for a Master of Art, everything is indispensable, let alone with his Art and his style, his message, his colors, the atmosphere he manages to create with his Works of Art. He knows how to criticize in a subtle way, but no less incisive. How many and how many words could I describe here about my own interpretation of our Master, my dear friend Kaza.
As we always stress, the great artist is not just an artistic expression in itself, but a soul that knows, or must know how to behave, in all situations. He can then make his observation of life, the world, everything he wants, without risking being part of his own criticism. Anyway, if we can criticize our neighbor, we must know how to do our part, as good people, citizens, and artists above all. Respect should never be exceeded, but the art of the cartoon finds a way to give the message without disrespect to anyone or anything, it just collaborates even for every understanding of that. This is the great Artist, like our dear Vladimir KAZANEVSKY.
Thank you, dear and respected Master, for all the reinforcements in our education, our principles, our work, and our dream come true because of your participation, among so many others that are part of this great family that is our event. May God our Father bless the participation of all artists, of all collaborators, of our Master Vladimir Kazanevsky and all his family, and of another year of a lot of Art in 2021, with peace, love and a lot of fraternity, solidarity to the surroundings, beyond all possible gratitude.

All artists who draw freehand, with free themes, are invited to participate. Registration is free. Participants must register with their own works, from the minimum size A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) to the size A3 (29.7 x 42 cm), ending the registration on July 30, 2021. All works must be ORIGINAL and UNPRECEDENTED. If the regulations are not respected, the drawings cannot be selected and awarded.

AWARDS
For the winners in each of the 4 (four) Categories
- CARICATURE, CARTUM, CHARGE and QUADRINHOS
- we will have prizes in the amount of R $ 300.00 (three hundred reais), and 1 (one) Special PIU Prize of R $ 1000.00 (thousand reais) for original work sent on paper, with bank deposit or remittance abroad.
We will also have Trophies and Certificates for the 5 (five) cash prizes, plus 10 (ten) Honorable Mentions that will be sent by e-mail, to the artists selected by our Judging Committee.
The 5 (five) Trophies will be sent by mail to the winners in the 4 Categories and to the PIU Award, and all certificates by e-mail.
Those selected and awarded will be announced in August 2021, posted on our blog (www.jornalopiu.blogspot.com) and Facebook.
EXPOSURE
The selected works do not have a date set for the exhibition due to the emergency situation in which we live, but as of August everyone will be able to check out the 100 selected in our permanent virtual exhibition on the blog of “Editora O PIU” - www.jornalopiu.blospot.com - in addition to the exhibition promoted by the Municipal Secretary of Culture of Limeira at prominent points in the city of Limeira with a date to be set.
All entries submitted will be considered acquisitive by “Editora O PIU”. The possession, use and any other rights in these works will belong to “Editora O PIU”, which reserves the right to use them as it sees fit. The simple registration configures the participant's automatic and full agreement with these Regulations.
