Call to cartoonists worldwide

CARTOONTT invites cartoonists from all over the world to share their vision of war and peace. In a world marked by conflicts and uncertainties, the initiative “Cartoons as Mirrors of Current Affairs” offers a unique platform for creative expression and social reflection. This project invites cartoonists from around the world to share their perspectives on war and peace. The emphasis is on solidarity and hope, as well as on questioning established values. In light of current crises in the Middle East, Ukraine and elsewhere, HUMORRATATATA aims to present stories of solidarity and hope.

We leave the battle to be the greatest and strongest to all who would wage war. That is why we are not organizing a competition, but an international cartoon exhibition.

We are counting on your sharp pen, because cartoons are a creative mirror of current events and at the same time an almost subversive form of expression that confronts the public with current events in a unique way.

This project is based on some fundamental values.

MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING versus misunderstanding. We aims to explore the complex dynamics between different regions of the world, with an emphasis on promoting understanding and combating stereotypes.
SOLIDARITY: the different community’s needs a collective effort to build a world that favors peaceful coexistence over conflict, integrating lessons from colonial history.
PEACE: In response to war propaganda and the dehumanization of “the other”, the project advocates a critical view of all parties involved, including the role of the West in world conflicts.
