Muğla Metropolitan Municipality 6th International Cartoon Competition Regulations
SUBJECT: "LOVE/AFFECTION"
Affection is defined as "attachment and interest felt towards something." Love, on the other hand, is "a deep affection felt towards something."
Love, which is at the center of life, is the greatest human emotion that makes the world livable. A person who values love benefits not only themselves but also their environment, society, and all of humanity. Because love arises from "interest, responsibility, respect, and empathetic understanding." This emotion is what makes the world more livable.
Love for humanity, love for nature, love for animals are all reflections of self-love.
Loving nature and animals means protecting and caring for them, thus creating the awareness of leaving a livable world for future generations. Love for humanity, on the other hand, arises from accepting differences, caring for the happiness of others, and helping each other in times of difficulty.
The strongest foundation for societies to live in peace and prosperity is undoubtedly love for humanity.
The root of the unrest, conflicts, and wars experienced throughout the world, including in the society we all belong to, is: "The lack of love." In a world without love, anger and conflict will always be inevitable. Only when love prevails will a world composed of just, peaceful, and strong societies emerge. Only individuals who possess love for humanity, love for society, love for the environment, love for nature, love for animals, etc., will be able to build a peaceful, happy, and harmonious world. To convey this message, and to bring the importance of love/affection to the forefront of our country's and the world's agenda with powerful messages, we have organized this competition on the theme of LOVE/AFFECTION. We hope that you will support this project, where the universal power of love/affection meets the universal power of caricature, with your original caricatures; we wish you success and express our gratitude for your contributions.
