To participate, simply create a funny drawing on A4 paper with the theme "The Wit of Humor". The competition is open to all amateurs, including schools and amateur art schools, and is divided into five categories: 3-5 years old – 6-8 years old – 9-11 years old – 12-16 years old – Adults.
Rules of the Amateur Competition:
Article 1 – The Saint-Just-le-Martel International Cartoon, Press Drawing, and Humor Exhibition is organizing an amateur drawing competition. The theme of this competition is "The Intelligence of Humor."
Article 2 – The drawing competition is open to the following age categories: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-11 years, 12-16 years, and adults. Participation is free.
Article 3 – The drawing must be done on an A4 sheet of paper (21 x 29.7 cm) without a caption; all artistic techniques and methods may be used. The participant's name, surname, address, and age must be written on the back of the sheet. To participate, send or drop off the drawing along with a signed copy of the competition rules to salon.humour@wanadoo.fr or the association's postal address:

Article 4 – The drawing must adhere to the conventions of humorous illustration. Humorous illustration combines image and text, allowing for the expression or critique of an opinion in a humorous or satirical manner.
Article 5 – The jury is composed of several people, including: two professional illustrators, the representative of the partnership, and members of the association.
Article 6 – The competition will launch on Friday, October 3, 2025. Drawings must be submitted by March 1, 2026.

Article 7 – Drawings will not be returned, except upon special request. The winning entries will be displayed on the event website and social media, as well as at the Loup space during the awards ceremony. By submitting their drawing, each participant authorizes its use, certifies that they hold the copyright, and authorizes the organizer to reproduce and use it free of charge in any of the association's communication materials.
Article 8 – The jury's decision is final. No appeals will be accepted. Participation in the competition implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules.
Article 9 – The organizer cannot be held responsible if, for reasons beyond its control, the competition must be modified, extended, or canceled in whole or in part.
Article 10 – Prizes: €1,000 in prizes and tickets to Futuroscope, offered by MAIF, the competition's partner, to children in the 9-11 and 12-16 age categories.
