From the 5th 'CARICATUNIS' Cartoon and Satire Portrait Competition Exhibition..

Mısır Karikatür Platformu (Egypt Cartoon), uluslararası karikatür ve portre yarışmasının 5. edisyonu olan CARICATUNIS 2025'in açılışını yansıtan fotoğraflardan oluşan bir koleksiyon yayınladı.

56 ülkeden 250'den fazla sanatçının yer aldığı ve toplam 528 eserle (399 karikatür + 129 hicivsel portre) bu yılki edisyon, etkinlik tarihinin en dinamik ve çeşitli edisyonlarından biri olarak öne çıkıyor.

Bu yılki serginin en dikkat çekici bölümlerinden biri, "Tunus Köyü'nün Vaftiz Annesi" olarak bilinen ilham verici figür Evelyne PORRET'e adanmış Portre Bölümü.

Sanatçılar, Fayoum'daki sanat, el sanatları ve yaratıcı toplulukları desteklemedeki mirasına saygı duruşunda bulunarak, geniş bir hiciv, ifade ve üslup yelpazesi sundular.

From the 5th 'CARICATUNIS' Cartoon and Satire Portrait Competition Exhibition

The Egypt Cartoon Platform now publishes a collection of photo highlights capturing the opening of CARICATUNIS 2025, the 5th edition of the international caricature and portrait competition.

With more than 250 artists from 56 countries and a total of 528 artworks (399 cartoons + 129 satirical portraits), this year’s edition stands as one of the most dynamic and diverse in the event’s history.

One of the most striking segments of this year’s exhibition is the Portrait Section dedicated to Evelyne Porret, the inspirational figure known as the "Godmother of Tunis Village".

Artists presented a wide range of satirical, expressive, and stylistic interpretations, paying tribute to her legacy in supporting arts, crafts, and creative communities in Fayoum.
