11th KalDer Bursa International Cartoon Contest 2026 Bursa, Turkey
Specification
The Caricature Contest will be held by the KalDer Bursa Branch Office for the 11th with in
the 23rd Quality and Success Symposium,which is going to take place in Bursa on the date
of April 28, 2026.
1. Contest Topic: “BREAKING POINT”
A moment of awareness, an awakening.
From a social perspective, it sometimes means transitioning into a new era.
A necessary stage in the advancement of science and technology.
An irreversible starting point caused by a disrupted balance.
At certain times in life, hitting rock bottom and making a new choice at a critical turning point.
A sign of new beginning and a moment of decision.
The breaking point isn’t only a individual phenomenon but also one of the fundamental dynamics of change and progress in social and historical processes. Every breaking point carries within it the potential for renewal and development.

When we reach a turning point, how can we identify opportunities, risks and redefine our goals? As we restructure for the future and economic development, moving from traditional systems to different ones, what path should we follow?
2. Last date for application: Thursday, January 29th, 2026
3. The contest is receptive internationally for all amateur and professional caricaturists.
4. Limited with three (3) caricatures, may be e-mailed to bursa@kalder.org in 300 dpi jpg
format.
5. The works produced with artificial intelligence (AI) will not be accepted into the
competition.
6. The caricatures can be published, yet should not be awarded in another competition. The
caricatures will be published at www.facebook.com/kalder.bursa social media account for
detection of plagiarism and resemblance. Beginning date and expiry date of publishing will
be announced later. Objections will not be considered after the dates specified.
7. Competing caricatures may be printed and used in KalDer organisations (posters, books,
albums, postcards, brochures, invitations, exhibitions, etc.) and published in internet
environment. One of the artworks may be used as the main visual of the 23th Quality and
Success Symposium which will be held in Bursa on the date of April 28, 2026. All remaining
publication rights belong to the author. Competitors are considered to have an agreement in
these conditions.
8. Categories (You need to indicate your category for which you applied on the form.)
1. Adult Category (at the age of 17 and above )
Prizes:
- 1th Place 25.000 TL ve Plaque
- 2th Place 20.000 TL ve Plaque
- 3th Place 15.000 TL ve Plaque
- Three Honorable Mention Plaques
- Jury Special Award (Plaque)
2. Young Category (at the age of 16 and below)
Prizes:
- 5 achievement medals
- 15 finalist certificates
Explanation: Reward money and plaques will be sent to respective winners in April 2026. Reward money will be paid according to exchange rates of the date of payment in USD for international artists.

Thursday, February 26, 2026.
