The 10th International Caricature Competition 2025 Kolasin, Montenegro
Dear Cartoonists,
We are pleased to announce that the International Caricature Festival Kolašin 2025 has announced the 10. /tenth /anniversary International Caricature Competition.
Theme of the Festival:
1. "Caricature Portrait – Vojo Stanić, Renowned painter of Montenegro"
2. "My Funniest Caricature"
Participants may submit a maximum of one entry per topic, totaling two entries.
Each submission must include the author’s name, country, and serial number.
For example: JOHN SMITH, USA 1; JOHN SMITH, USA 2.
The theme for this year’s festival is the "Portrait of Montenegrin painter" – Vojo Stanić. Artists worldwide are invited to create caricature portraits reflecting the life and work of this distinguished painter.
The best entries will be showcased globally. Prizes will be awarded for the top submissions, including monetary awards, trophies, diplomas, and T-shirts featuring the winning works.
Cartoons Turkiye / (Pencere Mizah)
Additionally, a special prize will be given for the best work under the theme “My Funniest Caricature.” Five special awards in the form of diplomas will also be presented.
Rules on Technique and Size:
There are no restrictions on the technique and size of the submissions.

Prizes:
• First Prize: 500 euros, a trophy, a diploma, and a T-shirt featuring the winning work.
• Second Prize: 300 euros, a trophy, a diploma, and a T-shirt featuring the winning work.
• Third Prize: 200 euros, a trophy, a diploma, and a T-shirt featuring the winning work.
• Prize for the Best Work on the Topic “My Funniest Caricature”: 300 euros, a trophy, a diploma, and a T-shirt featuring the winning work.
• Five Special Awards: Salon Diplomas for both topics.
Winners are required to submit original works or bring them to the award ceremony.
As an accompanying program of the festival, an exhibition of Belgian cartoons is being organized. Several Belgian artists and representatives of the ECC will be guests of the festival.
Important Dates:
• Submission Deadline: August 1, 2025
• Jury Decision Announcement: August 5, 2025, on all international cartoon websites.
• Award Ceremony: August 2024, 8 PM, at the Kolašin Cultural Center.
The festival is organized by JU Center for Culture Kolašin, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro and the Municipality of Kolašin.
