Ana Luiza KOEHLER
Ana Luiza Koehler is an architect, illustrator and comic artist from Porto Alegre (RS). She began working with illustration at the age of 16 and has worked in the Franco-Belgian market and for DC Comics, in addition to participating in exhibitions in Brazil and Germany. Her comic Beco do Rosário, inspired by the modernization of Porto Alegre in the 1920s, won four HQMix trophies and became a reference in historical graphic narrative. Today, Ana Luiza dedicates herself to teaching drawing and creating new stories based on the urban transformations of the early 20th century.
Bennê OLIVEIRA
Bennê Oliveira is a comic book artist and artist from Recife, creator of the comic strip Leve Mente Insana. The daughter of a domestic worker, she transforms family conversations and her mother's experiences into stories that mix affection and social criticism with great sensitivity. Her strips address the daily routine of domestic work, power relations, inequality and resistance — all with a firm style and a voice that comes from within. Bennê is also the author of the comic strip Não Identificado. She participated in Boy Dodói, an Independent Group Publication, HQMIX 2023 award. She publishes weekly on Instagram @leve.mente.insana.
J. BOSCO
JBosco is one of those names that needs no caption. A cartoonist, illustrator and cartoonist for the newspaper O Liberal, in Belém do Pará, since 1988, he has won awards in Brazil, the USA, Denmark and Belgium, and has had his work published in textbooks from several publishers and in magazines such as Veja and Le Monde Magazine. Author of the comic strips Colarinho, Pão e Vinho, Capitão Feijão and Mundo Cão, he has participated in more than 80 exhibitions and published six books. He has a sharp style and a career that combines humor, criticism and talent to spare.
Juan Francisco MIRANDA
Juan Francisco Miranda is a graphic designer, professor at FADU/UBA, and partner at the MoscaOchenta studio, a reference in editorial design and illustration in Argentina. He has worked for the Ministry of Education of Argentina and for publications such as Correo Argentino and La Nación, among many others. As a poster artist, he has participated in international exhibitions such as Poster for Tomorrow and Design of Dissent, in addition to being one of the founders of FINA – UBA's International Poster Festival. He also works as an illustrator for media outlets such as El Comercio (Peru), Cahiers du Football (France) and Argentine cultural platforms.
Lute
Lute is a cartoonist, caricaturist and illustrator from Minas Gerais with a solid career in the graphic humor scene. He has won awards at the country's main exhibitions, took his style to France, created Cartuminas (Cartunistas Mineiros Associados) and signed the daily cartoons for the newspaper Hoje em Dia for 30 years. He has organized Humor Exhibitions and notable exhibitions in Belo Horizonte, published in publications such as Folha de S. Paulo, Veja and O Pasquim 21 and had his cartoons included in textbooks. He has sharp humor, unique style and a true commitment to art as a form of transformation.
Omar ZEVALLOS
Omar Zevallos is a Peruvian caricaturist, illustrator and journalist with over 40 years of experience. He has participated in exhibitions in over 40 countries, published 20 books and is one of the great references in caricature and graphic humor in Latin America. Founder of Artefacto magazine and contributor to publications such as Correo, Expreso and La República, he is a member of the jury of the IV International Graphic Humor Exhibition of Pernambuco with his sharp eye and characteristic sense of humor.
