Participation in this section requires a minimum, of 3 (three) original, unwarded and unpublished works,

The works presented will not exceed the A3 dimensions (297 x 420 mm), the creative techniques used in the work are free to choose.

27th "Constantin Tanase" Humor Festival International Caricature and Graphic Satire Contest 2022 Vaslui Romania

Participation Rules:

The ”Stefan cel Mare” County Museum Vaslui announces a new edition of „The International salon of caricature and Satirical Graphics Contest - organized within the „Constantin Tanase” Humor Festival in Vaslui.

The Competition of the International Salon of Caricature and Satirical Graphics aims to discover promote and bring together the creators of caricature and satirical graphics from everywhere.

1. The „Constantin Tânase” Humor Festival in Vaslui will take place between September 11 - 18, 2022.

2. "The International Salon of Caricature and Graphics organized within this Humor Festival includes a single section that will have as theme: We woke up from the pandemic / And I cried as much as I could :/ And what did I do whit that?"

3. At The International Salon of Caricature and Satirical Graphics can participate gender creators from the country and abroad, without age limit.

4- The Conditions Of Participation are:

a) Participation in this section requires a minimum, of 3 (three) original, unwarded and unpublished works,

b) The works presented will not exceed the A3 dimensions (297 x 420 mm), the creative techniques used in the work are free to choose.

c) Only original works that respect the proposed theme will be accapted, copes of works or works sent by electronic means will not be accapted, (these will NOT be accepted for the competition).

d) On the reserve side, each paper will have the name, surname, address of the participant and phone number

e) The persons who works directly whit the organizing committee of the „Constantin Tânase” Humor Festival or with the jury of the contest cannot participate in the contest, including up to his relatives of the second degree.

f) Candidates who wants to participate in this contest must know that they are responsible for the veracity of the information and the autorship of the submitted works, being held responsible under the law, during and after the contest if they prove guilty of copyright infringement.

5. The works will be deposited or sent (shipped) in packages until August 22, 2022 (post date) at:

The County Museum, "Stefan cel Mare” Vaslui ,

Hagi Chiriae Street, no. 2, Postal code 730240, Vaslui County, Romania

The envelope will be mentioned:

"for the Contest of the The International Salon of Caricature and Satirical Graphics"

The organizers are not responsible for the loss of transport.

6- The organizers reserve the right to make available to the press the works presented in order to promete this year's edition of the „Constantin Tânase” Humor Festival in vaslui, without the claims of the authors of the works to copyright.

7- All the submitted works will enter the patrimony of the County Museum ”Ştefan cel Mare” Vaslui- which has been hoarding for 50 years what is most representative in the Romanian caricature.

8- The jury of "The International Caricature and Graphics will consist of 3 (three) distinguished members in the field of caricature and satirical graphics, personalities of culture and art and will judge the works on the criteria creativity, originality, and respect of the theme of the contest. The section will be made by the contest jury, its decisions must be accepted by the participants, without being able to be contested.

9- At the Salon - Contest, „Constantin Tânase” Humor Festival the Jury will award the prizes and the trophies specific to the Humor Festival ”Constantin Tânase” and the winners will be announced in due time on the date of their presence in Vaslui.
