The organizations “Sharawatch” and FECO Union of cartoonist of Serbia invite applicants to take part in the caricature contest titled:
“Mini Hydropower Plants – Maximum Destruction”
All professional or amateur caricaturists are invited to send their works, whether made by the light of lightbulbs, lamps, candles, the sun, or the moon, by November 1st, 2020.
There are norestrictions, except for authors who have sunk into the dark abyss of hate speech.
Participation Rules
Subject MHPPs
You can put rivers into pipes but for us it will never be water under the bridge; energy produced like this will only throw light on criminals, profiteers, and bureaucrats; they are the ones putting our rivers into pipes, and we will be the ones to put them on - paper. Anything goes as long as it's powered by truth, justice, and concern for the environment; putting rivers into pipes is like shoot nature in the eye...
Participants
Right to participate at this contest have any author worldwide, regardless of gender, age, nationality or occupation. It's open to citizens of the world, even to extraterrestrials, as well as to people living next to rivers and making a living from them, to hunters and fishermen, even to those who have no use for current, except for sea currents; from girls treading water to wise old men standing next to river Styx..
Works
Maximum number of works per participant: 2 (two)
Works must be sent in PDF/ JPGformat (minimum resolution 300DPI), and must be originals drawn or printed in black and white technique or in color.
All graphic techniques are allowed.
Format: A4, max 5MB.
The work should be accompanied by the following data: title of the work, author’s name, address, e-mail address, mobile phone number, and brief biography.

Copyrights
By taking part in the Contest, participants permit the organizers to publish and use their works.
The three best works will become property of the Contest organizers.
All participants agree the organizers may publish their works in brochures, catalogues, calendars and the media.
Prizes
First prize: 300 EUR
Second prize: 200 EUR
Third prize: 100 EUR
The prize-winning caricatures will be published in the New Year’s issue of“Jež” (Hedgehog),
All participants will be able to hold their heads high for having taken part in this worthy cause.
Jury
Jury members: Jugoslav Vlahovic, Chairman, Iva Markovic, Ulrich Eichelmann, Zoran Tovirac, Nebojsa Redzic
The jury will assess the received works according to professional standards. The decisions of the jury will be final and the participants will have no right of appeal (even to the management of the water supply company).
By sending their works, participants agree to the rules of the Contest.
Catalog
A catalog with the best works will be printed and sent to the authors. A PDF catalog of all selected works will be posted in digital format on the organizer's website for review and download.
