Rakha (1910-1988) is one of the pioneers of Egyptian caricature art and is often called the "Father of Egyptian caricature". In 1933 he was jailed on the charge of offending the King of Egypt. Later, in 1984, he founded the Egyptian caricature Association. rakha created many famous cartoon characters that most Egyptians still remember fondly today.
